Are you interested in exploring your Rayner lineage? If so then please consider joining the Rainer (and surname variants) Project at: https://www.familytreedna.com/groups/rainer. Note that you need to be a male Rayner to take a FamilyTreeDNA Y-DNA test. If you are not a male Rayner this does not prevent you from participating in the project but you will need to recruit a male Rayner, e.g. brother, father, uncle or cousin, to take a Y-DNA test for you.

Best Regards,

Gavin Rayner

Hi Jon. Hope you are well.
How do you add photos to the site? (I'm thinking of the pet section).
When I try the 'contribute' tag I get 'sorry, not authorised'.
Thanks, Steve.

I enjoyed reading about West House Mill. Thomas Colbeck (1769-1847)was the eldest son on Thomas Colbeck of Keighley who was a brother of Elizabeth Colbeck, my maternal 5x great grandmother. You might be interested to know that three of Thomas's(1769-1847)sisters married three Holdsworth brothers from Otley district. Thomas was in business with two of these brothers, William and John.
I'd be interested to know of any other information you may have discovered about Thomas Colbeck junior in relation to the mill.

Thank you for your feedback and information
